#19 - Charm Bracelet

So in the book that I'm reading (you know the one I was talking about previously? ahem - The One Hundred) No. 19 on the list of 100 is a charm bracelet. Since every fashionable woman is suppose to own one, and I didn't own one, I decided to make one for me.

I have charms that represent each of my children (1 girl + 2 boys), my love for cooking, my support of breast cancer research, my knowledge of jewelry making, my philosphy about "evil" and my wild side (aka Lucious Lisha).

My daughter has charms that represent her love of dogs, her sport of softball, love of God, my blessing of sweet dreams and a special message from mom.

Now I know what you're thinking.... WTF? Why didn't her cheap a$$ just go and buy one? Well since I DO MAKE JEWELRY, why couldn't I just make one for me? And while I was at it, I made one for my daughter too!

Now she's FABULOUSLY fashionable... well, she has a charm bracelet at least ;)

Book quote, page 55: "I really think that American gentlemen are the best after all, because kissing your hand may make you feel very good, but a diamond-and-sapphire bracelet lasts forever." - Anita Loos

Aww, it's so much more personal when you make it yourself anyway. I didn't know that every fashionable woman needs a charm bracelet but I've always been secretly envious of them when I see them on people. Thanks for accepting my friend request on Foodbuzz. I can't wait to read more of your stuff!
