So, I'm starting to develop a theme hear of "no thought" cooking .... hmmmm, maybe that will be my next blog title (lord knows I have sooooo many).
Anyway, as I've stated before, sometimes you just want to "think" you can make something, without searching for a recipe. This was the case with my beefy stir fry.
Beef Round Eye Stir Fry
RECIPE:
3/4 - 1lb of beer round eye, trimmed fat, sliced into strips
stir fry vegetables (found in the frozen food aisle)
olive oil
habanero, 1 diced
garlic, 3 cloves, chopped
salt
pepper
pure sesame oil
onion, 1/2 medium sized, sliced
Oil the bottom of skillet pan with equal parts olive oil and sesame oil.
Add garlic, onions and haberno to pan. Sautee for 2-3 minutes (until almost sticky).
Add beef to the pan, cook 4 minutes on each side. Remove meat and drain everything into a bowl. Using the leftover oil, sautee the stir fry vegetables until cooked but still firm. Add meat back into the mixture and cook entire meal for another 1-2 minutes, to reheat meat all the way through.
