So one of my resolutions this year was to go on at least 9 dates with my husband. On Saturday we were able to go on our first one. Thanks to the handy-dandy iPhone, we "stumbled" across LA Prime Steakhouse and Bona Vista Lounge. I love spending time with my hubby, and the great food, views and atmosphere made it that more "lovely." The views of downtown LA were magnificant, and it was also pretty cool to sit in a revovling lounge while drinking and holding hands.So, here's what we ate:
Starters - Lobster bisque and Lobster cakes (in a tangerine reduction sauce)
24oz. Delmonico Dry Aged steak with mashed potatoes and sauteed musrooms (we split the steak, which is why it's cut)
(We opted to go down to the revolving cocktail lounge for drinks and dessert).
I sipped a "Black Chocolatini"
..and we shared a cheesecake with berries.
All in all it was a good experience and we can't wait to go on our next date.
